Experience:

I worked several years in business and industry as a technician, engineer, and manager developing and managing manufacturing processes for computer and measurement hardware and software. I have more recently worked for several years designing instructional materials and disseminating information via the web and other means for an agricultural health and safety center and private businesses.

Currently, I am teaching in the Adult Education and Training program in the School of Education at Colorado State University. I am designing and implementing web based instruction using WebCT and other web tools. This includes working with instructors to incorporate a web component in their courses for our Graduate and Teacher Licensure programs. I have published articles on instruction and the use of technology in the classroom. I also work with the staff and faculty to setup distance education programs using several different varieties of delivery modalities. I believe that my education and work history puts me in a unique position to understand the technology as well as adult learning principles and to incorporate both into the design of instruction in distance education.
